"I contacted Andrea about obedience classes with my recently rescued dog.  Flip had never been socialized as a puppy, had
been abused, and was afraid of almost everything. We felt it was very important to work on Flip's fears before the birth of our
son and the many visitors we would have.
Attending Andrea's classes have changed Flip into a very happy, social, confident dog."

"Taking your course was the best investment  made for Sam and myself. Thank you.
P.S. I am telling my friends about your course and the puppy kindergarten."

It is so nice to have well behaved dogs.  Andrea's classes have made a big difference in our dog's behavior. It is also a fun,
rewarding way to bond with our dogs. Our newest dog,Charley is younger than the shelter estimated. He was a big, clumsy
puppy who was hyperactive and had no manners. After two rounds of Andrea's obedience classes, he is well behaved and
focused and seems more comfortable and happy with himself. When we first adopted him I was afraid that we had  gotten more
than we bargained for but after obedience training, we are just thrilled with the progress he has made and we are so glad that
we adopted him. He is a wonderful addition to our family.  Thank you Andrea!

My dog Dara and I have just completed Dog Manners I with Andrea DiMaio. I have learned many new techniques for teaching
Dara, and Dara has subsequently learned better manners. For example, she now sits when told, which is a great help with such
an excitable dog as Dara.
Andrea is so knowledgeable and understanding of all the problems we students face with our dogs, and always has good advice
as to how to handle them. She doesn't rush us, but gives explicit homework assignments in writing for us to practice what was
introduced in that session.
Most important, I think, is that Andrea is relaxed and non-threatening. She appeared to enjoy the classes, and therefore all of
us, including our dogs, did too.

Our new rescue dog, Carmen, & I were students in Doggie Manners 1 & I am very happy with the results. The class is
well-structured but casual, there is an emphasis on maintaining a calm atmosphere, & the lessons are step-by-step in order for
the dog to understand what's being asked of them. I was happy to see that there is no high-pressure placed on the dogs or their
people. Andrea understands that all dogs are different- they learn at different rates & for different rewards. It's not important that
things are done her way but that they're done the right way as per each individual dog. Our dog, Carmen, has learned her basic
manners & we will be going on to the next step of more good behavior in Doggie Manners 2.

My dog Duncan, about a 2 yr old black Lab mix, and I had the privilege of taking the Dog Obedience 1 class, taught by Andrea
DiMaio.
I found Andrea to be an exceptional person. She is an excellent teacher who is able to make every owner and their dog feel
special. She created an environment of support, fun and encouragement. It was obvious how much the dogs loved Andrea by
the marvelous way they would respond to her.
Each time Andrea taught us a new skill, she would explain the reason and importance of this skill. Her patience, as she worked
with each dog and their owner and also with the group, was amazing as each dog and their owner had their own special needs.
Each week, the new skills we learned would build on the previous skills. Along with the hands on approach, Andrea would always
give us papers with valuable information and great tips, concerning the skills we were learning.
Andrea stressed the importance of making training fun for the dog and it's owner and it really works.

Thanks Andrea for everything you did for us. It was appreciated by all of us.
